I have to say I'd normally be very skeptical because I LOVE the movie, LOVE Gene Kelly and I have NO idea how they're going to pull off the amazing ballet.

BUT, for some reason after reading through that I just have a good feeling about it. Harry Groener, Erin Dilly, Randy Skinner and the whole creative team, I really think they have a good chance at pulling this off. I'm really excited to see how it comes along and see what happens! re: THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED's (with Chad Allen in Hartford, CT) artwork Jan 23, 06:56:41 PM
SO cute. Very eye-catching and sure to get some attention to the show. Wish I could see it! re: O'Hara's Debut Solo Album, featuring Connick, jr., released May 6 Jan 23, 06:45:32 PM
SO thrilled for her! If I could pre-order now I would! Great Book, Not-So-Great Score...

MCA No 2 may announce his decision on contest today

KUALA LUMPUR: With the MCA scheduled to announce its list of candidates tomorrow, speculation is rife that MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy is still unsure whether he would contest in the general election.

It is learnt that the Transport Minister is seriously considering withdrawing from the race for health reasons and that he had already conveyed his plans to party leaders.

Until 1.30 this morning, the Pahang politician was still huddled with his aides and supporters to talk about his plan but it is understood that he may announce his decision today.

Gore are supposed to be examples for us to live by. But with his movie, his Oscar and lavish lifestyle, it appears he's only talking the talk and not walking the walk. CA
Still Not Convinced - Part Two --Friday, February 23, 2007 From my home, I can peer out my window and see I-65 and I notice that the highway department is cutting back the trees so they don't grow over into traffic. With the millions of vehicles that travel that highway from Chicago to Mobile on a single day…shouldn't every living thing next to it be dead? And that includes the hundreds of thousands of cows that add their methane to the mix. Just sayin'. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what reaction my latest global warming post was going to bring. Somehow, my little ol' blog made it clear across the Northern Hemisphere – from California to Canada to the United States Senate! I sometimes forget how quick blogs are picked up and read, especially if it deals with such a (ehm) hot topic as global warming.

General Wired & Wireless Outsourcing Offshore outsourcing Telecommunications Business Continuity Disaster Recovery

Countries across the Middle East are sans Internet connections due to a cable break on Wednesday. Two lessons: The Internet in some areas lack redundancy and telecommunications infrastructure is weak. And companies that outsource customer service operations offshore need to plan ahead.

Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology on Wednesday formed an emergency task force to fix a cable that cut off Internet services and international communications in the Middle East.

Stanford researchers hear the sound of quantum drums Nanoscale drums provide insight into math, quantum physics and microelectronics

Forty years ago, mathematician Mark Kac asked the theoretical question, "Can one hear the shape of a drum?"

If drums of different shapes always produce their own unique sound spectrum, then it should be possible to identify the shape of a specific drum merely by studying its spectrum, thus "hearing" the drum's shape (a procedure analogous to spectroscopy, the way scientists detect the composition of a faraway star by studying its light spectrum).

But what if two drums of different shapes could emit exactly the same sound? If so, it would be impossible to work backward from the spectrum and uniquely surmise the physical structure of the drum, because there would be more than one correct answer to the question.
