| Candidates press cases for Round 2
And, I think the best first place to start is with the politicians that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bills for the kids. Passed by congress twice. But what about the President. It was Bush after all that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bill passed by congress to assure more health coverage for Americas kids. So which of the presidential hopefuls do I think will be most supportive of implementing the demand of the majority of the American people to have HR 676 (Medicare For All) passed into law immediately! We have some very fine presidential candidates who would make good presidents. But none of the top Presidential candidates directly support HR 676, the only true Universal Health Care plan. So I am supporting Hillary Clinton. She is the only top candidate that has ever actually fought for universal health care before.
Embed Any Video Or HTML Code Into Your Wordpress Blog Site: EmbedIt ...
Embed any HTML code in Wordpress without problems! A new, free Wordpress plugin, allows anyone to embed safely and reliably any piece of embeddable code, widget or Javascript inside any post on your blog site. Matteo Ionescu, explains in simple words what the new EmbedIt plugin for Wordpress is all about Hand-coded by SEO expert and POP partner advisor at Robin Good University, Matteo Ionescu, this truly simple utility resolves what for many has been a never-ending nightmare. Wordpress-based web publishers have learned the hard way how frustrating it can be to embed a video inside or many other types of "embeddable" objects inside Wordpress posts. Unless the embeddable code is specifically designed for Wordpress, once you have placed and published the code, things tend to run havoc: when you edit the post the embedded code is not there anymore, the published page breaks up the layout, the first time is there but not the second one...
Madonna set to tour Down Under, adopt another child
She was, however, happy to talk about her pride at her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next week. "It's 25 years of writing, producing and recording," she said. "That's a long time to do a job well, I might add. "So, yeah - it's a great sense of accomplishment." The Sunday Telegraph was given an exclusive preview of her new album - and it certainly signals a new hip-hop-driven direction for the singer. She collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. The first single, Four Minutes (To Save The World) hits radio this month. "I'm very anxious and nervous and hopeful that people will like it," she said. She is also releasing a feature film (Filth And Wisdom) and a documentary (I Am Because We Are), which tells the story of her adoption of son David Banda from Malawi.
Thousands cheer Hillary Clinton in Bay Area
I don't think any of us could have imagined that all of the work, all of the sacrifice, all of the commitment that has moved our country ... could have been so symbolized by the two of us, standing there, debating, trying to become the Democratic nominee and the president of our great country." In San Francisco, Clinton was joined by Mayor Gavin Newsom and Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums, who said Clinton showed a powerful feeling for simple justice. The predominately female crowd cheered when the senator conceded that as a young girl she never would have dreamed she would have a chance to become president. "No matter what happens," she said, "after last night's debate, you can look at a child and say, 'Yes, you can be anything you want to be in this country we care so much about." In San Jose, mariachis strolled the crowd, trumpets blaring, serenading Clinton's supporters into a joyous mood.

Film fest brings Hollywood flare to Belcher Center
A longtime campus event at LeTourneau University opens to the community Feb. 29 when an amateur Film Festival moves to the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center. The event pits short movies shot by students, and this year by residents, against each other in an awards show format. Several films will be shown. "We're doing the whole red carpet thing," student coordinator James Christopherson said. "So, if people want to dress up for it, that would be neat. "We had several very, very good films this year that, on their own, are worth coming out to see. This has always been just a smaller campus activity. This year we get to open it up (to the community). We're really excited about it." Christopherson said about 15 amateurs submitted short film entries this year, ranging from five to 15 minutes long.
Sony OLED Slims Down HD
Sony and Samsung are leading the push to organic-LED display technology, with Sony launching the XEL-1, an 11-inch OLED TV that is only 3 millimeters thick, in Japan in early December. "Given enough time to figure out how to increase manufacturing efficiencies, this will become a replacement technology for LCD and plasma devices," said Hugo Gaggioni, chief technology officer of Sony Broadcast. Only 2,000 units have been made available at retail stores across Japan, 700 of which will be used for marketing purposes, and additional units will only be made available in January. The retail price is approximately $1,800. "The material is very expensive and, when we find out how to reduce those costs, we will be able to make larger panels," Gaggioni said.
